The Blighting
As the armies of Lypu drew ever nearer during their war of aggression, the high priests of Coscroa began to fear the total domination of the northern country, and in an act of great desperation, called on their goddess to punish the invaders and keep them from encroaching any further. Unfortunately, the wrath of a goddess is not a precision instrument, and Roa unleashed a great storm of magic across the lands that Lypu had conquered, twisting the lands and the people in them, both Lypan and Coscroan.
When twisted creatures began to emerge from the newly created Warblight, Lypu’s war of aggression was ended, and the countries on three sides of the Warblight built tall walls to keep the monsters from the people they had left.
