I grew up in Niasa in a nomadic, desert society. Most of my life was spent as a fighter for my clan, but now that I’m an elder, I’ve retired from the fighting (but don’t count out this old lady, the body remembers how to fight, even if the recovery afterward is a little more painful) and have taken up pursuit of the mystery of who stole my family’s waybread recipe – I have vowed to solve this mystery before I die. My great-grand-orc told me she had heard a rumor that the Elves had taken it, so I started my search by journeying across Coscroa. Treking through the jungles in the east was not an easy task – I swear my very lungs mildewed and mushrooms sprouted from my ears!

I made my way through villages, under the guise of a slightly hard-of-hearing (and a little absentminded) Granny seeking the best recipes from each locale to compile into my forthcoming cookbook “Mastering the Art of Coscroan Cooking” – and that is where I encountered CRAW– they were offering to pay people to set up camps in the very area I needed to explore! With age comes practicality, and I seized on this opportunity to further my search on someone else’s dime…and who knows…maybe I’ll actually write that cookbook one day.
